200 students invaded San Diego this year to take part in the 10th Annual Student Chapter Leadership Workshop at SPIE Optics + Photonics! The workshop began early on Saturday, 20 August at the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina.

Given the large number of student attendees, chapter leaders were divided into two groups for the morning and afternoon sessions; alternating topics. Also, since this was the 10th annual workshop, SPIE Student Services invited ten chapter alumni to join the event as group facilitators.
