Color Pages for the Printed Proceedings of SPIE
- Manuscripts submitted through http://MySPIE.org that contain color will retain color in all of SPIE's digital publications at no charge.
- Authors who wish to have color printed in the printed Proceedings volume must pay a fee of $250 (USD) per page.
- Note: When formatting color it is important to keep in mind that if you are not paying for color printing, that the manuscript will be printed in grayscale, and color schemes need to be of sufficient contrast. For example, yellow on a white background or purple on a black background will most likely not print adequately when converted to gray values. If you do not wish to pay for color and are submitting a hard copy, convert your figures to grayscale to ensure quality reproduction.
Reprints
- Reprints are available for shipping approximately 4 to 6 weeks after the conference.
- Reprints may be ordered in multiples of 100 with a minimum requirement of 100 copies.
- There is an addtional charge for color pages.
- A reprint cover is included at no charge with paper title and volume.
- For an optional charge, you may customize your reprint cover with a figure from your paper, or other text or artwork that you supply.
- Please include clear instructions for SPIE staff to use in laying out the cover when preparing your order form.
